Some Knoxville seniors are proving that kindness knows no age. Residents at Concord Place, an Anthem Memory Care community, hosted a community lemonade stand on May 7 to raise funds for Little River Wildlife Rehab.

The public purchased drinks and met Benny, a special turtle who can’t be released back into the wild.

“This fundraiser gives our residents a joyful way to connect with the community while supporting a cause they truly care about,” said Lorie Ann Wilson, life engagement director for Concord Place. “Every cup of lemonade represents compassion, purpose, and the shared desire to make a difference.”
