A move to another state or country often begins with a practical question: Who can help on the other end?
For Wallace Real Estate, answering that question is part of the work of Carol Hart, the company’s relocation director. Hart recently attended the Relocation Directors Council’s 2026 Fall Event in Chicago, held Oct. 26–27, joining industry professionals for
conversations about the changing needs of relocating clients.
The agenda explored housing challenges, employee expectations and the role of artificial intelligence in relocation services. Alongside discussions of new technology, sessions considered where human connection remains essential and how stronger partnerships
can support clients through a move.
“I’m proud to represent Wallace Real Estate and help our clients wherever their next move takes them,” said Carol Hart, Wallace’s relocation director. “As a Certified Relocation Professional, I can draw on more than 20 years of industry relationships to connect
buyers and sellers with trusted real estate professionals across the country.”
Those relationships have a practical purpose for East Tennessee buyers and sellers. Through its affiliation with Leading Real Estate Companies of the World, known as LeadingRE, Wallace can connect clients with real estate professionals across the country and
internationally. The network includes approximately 500 firms and 129,000 sales associates in 70 countries.
For someone selling a home in Knoxville and purchasing in another state, that can mean working with Wallace on the local sale while receiving an introduction to an agent in the destination market. For a buyer moving into East Tennessee, it means connecting
with a local agent who can explain housing options and market conditions.
The connections also extend beyond job-related moves. Clients may need help purchasing a second home, planning for retirement or finding a real estate professional for a relative in another community.
As a member of the LeadingRE network, Wallace can connect buyers and sellers from across the country with real estate assistance here in East Tennessee. During the first nine months of 2026, those connections reached communities throughout Florida, Nevada,
North Carolina, Kentucky and beyond.
Charlotte, Chicago and Reno were among the cities where real estate professionals helped connect clients with Wallace. Whether someone is searching for a home here or needs help selling an East Tennessee property while living elsewhere, those relationships
provide a local resource to guide the process.
For buyers and sellers, the benefit is a familiar starting point when their plans reach beyond East Tennessee. Wallace’s relocation team can help identify the next connection based on a client’s destination, timing and real estate needs.
