The smell of slow-smoked barbecue is making its way across East Tennessee as Food City’s popular Q Mobile Smoker hits the road for another weekend of fresh-from-the-smoker favorites.

Food City’s traveling barbecue operation brings its signature smoked meats directly to participating grocery store locations, offering shoppers an easy way to pick up lunch, dinner or something special for a weekend gathering.

The Q Smoke Pit features meats seasoned with Food City’s signature blend of herbs and spices and cooked slowly to develop their smoky flavor.

The mobile smoker is scheduled for Friday and Saturday, October 9–10, at these East Tennessee Food City locations:

  • Morristown: 4100 Cool Springs Road
  • Sevierville: 2339 Newport Highway

Hours are 10 a.m.–9 p.m., weather permitting and while supplies last. Menu selections vary by location.
