If you’re looking for a best friend who is equal parts cuddle bug, adventure buddy, and playful puppy, then Tory may just be your perfect match. This sweet terrier mix is estimated to be around 8 months old, and she has quickly stolen the hearts of everyone at the shelter and in her foster home.
Tory girl is the definition of affectionate. She absolutely loves being around people and is happiest when she’s soaking up attention, snuggling on the couch, or tagging along for whatever the day may bring. Whether it’s going for a walk, exploring somewhere new, or curling up for a movie night, Tory is always ready to be part of the fun.
One of the most rewarding things about Tory’s journey has been watching her blossom in foster care. At first, she was a little unsure in new situations, but with patience and love, her personality has truly come alive. She now warms up to new people quickly and has become such a confident, happy little girl.
Tory is also full of playful puppy energy. She’s curious about the world around her and loves discovering new sights, smells, and adventures. And if treats are involved? Even better. This smart girl is very treat-motivated and eager to please, making her a joy to have around.
Her foster family says Tory is extremely easy to live with and has a wonderful balance of playful energy and sweet companionship. She’s simply a very good girl who is ready to find a forever family to love her as much as she will love them.
Pet Tip: It’s going to be a hot one this weekend! Before taking your dog for a walk, try the “7-Second Paw Rule.” Place the back of your hand on the pavement for 7–8 seconds. If it’s too hot for your skin, it’s too hot for your dog’s paws. Even when the air temperature is only 77 degrees, asphalt can reach around 125 degrees and cause painful burns. Early-morning and evening walks are the safest choices during the warmer months.
