Cultural Festivals reflect the specific cultures and communities they represent.

Dogwood Trails with open gardens and camera sites: This annual tradition begins Wednesday, April 1 – Thursday, April 30. Thirteen blooming trails covering over 90 miles of residential neighborhoods. South Knoxville is the featured area for 2026. Trails and Gardens. Follow Dogwood Arts.

New Exhibitions Open at The Emporium on April 3: The Arts & Culture Alliance is pleased to present four new exhibitions at the Emporium Center in downtown Knoxville, opening on Friday, April 3, from 5-9 p.m. A free gathering with the exhibiting artists will also feature live music.

Local Art Projects aim to beautify public spaces and foster community spirit.

KnoxWalls Murals & Music Festival: Dogwood Arts brings a new open-air music experience to Emory Place on May 30, 2026, as muralists go head-to-head in an art competition.

Performances combining visual art, music, dance, or theater.

Passover Musical Feast: The Amadeus Concert Ensemble will present a free family holiday concert, Passover Musical Feast, on Sunday, March 22, 2026, at 4 p.m. at the Arnstein Jewish Community Center, 6800 Deane Hill Drive, Knoxville. Info here.

Bijou Jubilee on June 6 to feature a folk festival in the theatre and on Gay Street. Tickets go on sale Friday, March 20, for the theatre’s largest annual fundraiser, presented by Lawson Family Foundation: Information here

Experience the Magic of “The Little Mermaid” with the Appalachian Ballet Company! Join in the enchanting one-and-a-half-hour ballet performance of The Little Mermaid at the Clayton Center for the Arts on March 27 at 7 p.m. and March 28 at 3 p.m. Tickets are available now at appalachianballet.org or at the Clayton Center for the Arts box office.
