James T. “Jim” Brannon III, 74, passed away on May 17, 2023, at UT Medical Center. Jim is a Maryland native who played football at the University of Maryland and graduated with a degree in journalism.
He fashioned a successful career in sales/marketing that included stints with Campbell Soup, Johnson & Johnson and Whittle Communications/Channel One News Network. He and his wife, Jane, made their home in Farragut where Jim played golf at Willow Creek. Both Jim and Jane created a network of friends in Knoxville and Farragut. Jane was executive director of the local chapter of the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
Family and friends will gather to celebrate Jim’s life on Saturday, June 3, at noon at Farragut Presbyterian Church with a reception to follow. The full obituary is here.
