- Knoxville City Council will hold a workshop on homelessness at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, April 5, in the Main Assembly Room of the City-County Building.
- Fountain City Town Hall will hear Tim Hester, the city’s parks and greenways coordinator, at 7 p.m. Monday, April 9, at the Church of the Good Shepherd, 5337 Jacksboro Pike. Hester is the former city manager of Norris.
- Candidates for Knox County Mayor will speak in a League of Women Voters-sponsored forum 6:30-8:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 11, at West High School. Republicans Brad Anders, Glenn Jacobs and Bob Thomas; Democrats Linda Haney and Rhonda Gallman. The local NAACP is co-sponsoring. All are invited.
