- Northwest Knoxville Business and Professional Association (NWKBPA) has elected new officers, who took office March 1: R. Larry Smith, president; Cassie Kiestler, vice president; Scott Shoffner, secretary; and Andrew Hartung, treasurer. The club meets at noon each third Thursday, usually at the Karns Senior Center.
- Knox North Lions Club’s carnival will be held May 9-13 at East Towne Mall near Penney’s. It will be co-sponsored this year by the Knox East Lions Club. Free admission with a $20 arm band per day for all rides. Discount tickets for $5 will be available. Info: Greg Householder or Rick Long.
