  • Town Hall East will join others to build a disk golf course at Sarah Moore Greene Magnet Academy.   • Cedar Bluff area parents can attend a rescheduled strategic planning meeting by Knox County Schools from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, March 8, at the Cedar Bluff Middle School.
  • Russ Jensen, director of the city of Knoxville’s 311 center, is celebrating the center’s selection for the 2018 Teamwork Award, given annually by the Government Contact Services Community of Practice. 311 receives about 200,000 calls per year, with most calls about dirty and overgrown lots, missed trash pick-ups and abandoned vehicles.
