- Greenway closure: A portion of Third Creek Greenway will be closed for about a week, beginning Monday, Feb. 26, as crews repair the “zig-zag bridge” near Safety City and Concord Street.
- Pellissippi State Community College has signed a formal pledge to increase its focus on entrepreneurship and its economic impact on the community. The college supports entrepreneurship, in part, through its affiliate, Tennessee Small Business Development Center. In 2017, TSBDC served 364 clients, helped 33 new businesses start, created 111 new jobs and retained 233 jobs.
- Jason Leverant, president and COO of AtWork Group, a national staffing franchise, will speak at Staffing Industry Analysts’ Executive Forum 2018 on Feb. 27 in Miami. He will be part of “Success Story Showcase: Secrets of the Fastest-Growing Firms” at the Fontainebleau Hotel.
