- Knox County Schools has rescheduled two community meetings previously canceled by bad weather. Strategic planning meetings are now set for Tuesday, Feb. 27, at Carter Middle School and Thursday, March 8, at Cedar Bluff Middle School. Each will run from 6-8 p.m. with opportunities for everyone to speak in breakout groups.

- Bearden area officials will meet the public Wednesday, Feb. 28, from 5:30-7 p.m. at West Hills Flats & Taps, 7403 Kingston Pike. All city council members have been invited to attend. Hosts are District 4 Commissioner Hugh Nystrom, school board member Lynne Fugate and District 2 council member Andrew Roberto.
