- Wynne Caffey-Knight is the 2019 president of the Knoxville Bar Association. She is a partner in the law firm of Elmore Stone & Caffey PLLC and has been active in the Knoxville legal community for almost 30 years. Other officers are Hanson R. Tipton, president-elect; Cheryl G. Rice, treasurer; and Jason H. Long, secretary.
- Powell Station History Society will have a new meeting date in 2019. The group will meet from 7-8 p.m. each fourth Thursday at the Community Center on Emory Road. The next meeting will be Thursday, Jan. 24. Visitors are invited.
