Tennessee’s 1998 national championship trophy came to First Tennessee’s Downtown West Financial Center on Friday for a two-hour fan celebration and social media competition.
Bank staff offered nylon orange fans along with cookies and bottled water. Lots of customers were there to take photos of the trophy and themselves with it. Some lucky fan won tickets to today’s UT game versus Florida. Friday’s stop was part of the trophy’s caravan in celebration of the 20th anniversary of Tennessee’s national championship.
Bank employees enjoyed the festivities but weren’t allowed to touch the trophy!
