  • Lacey Hayes, director of marketing and communications for Caris Healthcare, has been appointed by the Tennessee Center for Performance Excellence to its 2018 Board of Examiners. The board evaluates applications for the TNCPE award program.
  • Gretchen Crawley is the new vice president of communications for Girl Scouts of the Southern Appalachians, based in Knoxville. She has previously worked in public relations for the University of Tennessee, Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts, Tennova and Provision.
  • “Black Comedy,” a play scheduled to be performed Sept. 14-16 at Pellissippi State Community College, has been postponed due to an injured actor. The performance may be rescheduled for spring semester.
