- Knox County Commission and the school board will meet at 3 p.m. today (5/3) at the City County Building to discuss the budget for Knox County Schools. This is a good start for the commission under the leadership of Randy Smith. Stay tuned.
- Knox North Lions Club’s carnival will be held May 9-13 at Knoxville Center mall near Penney’s. It w.ill be co-sponsored this year by the Knox East Lions Club. Free admission with a $20 arm band per day for all rides. Discount tickets for $5 will be available. Info: Greg Householder or Rick Long.
