- Bob Thomas and Ed Brantley, county commissioners at-large, will meet the public today (4/25) 5-7 p.m. at Sam & Andy’s in Aspen Square, Farragut. Everyone is invited to attend.
- Kristen Combs has transitioned from her role as sales director to director of communications and social strategies for Visit Knoxville, filling the media relations position recently vacated by Erin Donovan.
- Dr. Brian Esters has become president-elect of the Phi Lambda Sigma Pharmacy Leadership Society (PLS), the first facility member in South College’s School of Pharmacy to hold the national position.
- Knox North Lions Club’s carnival will be held May 9-13 at Knoxville Center mall near Penney’s. It will be co-sponsored this year by the Knox East Lions Club. Free admission with a $20 arm band per day for all rides. Discount tickets for $5 will be available. Info: Greg Householder or Rick Long.
