Knox County’s Second Saturday Concert series concludes this month with 1980s era classics from Vinyl Tap at The Cove and blues-based tunes from Crawdaddy Jones at New Harvest Park. The live entertainment, which is free and open to the public, runs from 6-8 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 12, at each location.
Car seat inspection, sponsored by the Knoxville Police Department, will be 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 12, 917 E. Fifth Ave. The inspection is free and appointments are not necessary.
Sen. Bob Corker will speak to a lunch sponsored by the Knoxville Chamber at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 16, at the Holiday Inn, World’s Fair Park.
