In the fall and especially in the month of October, some readers choose books with scary themes. Not me. I searched my Goodreads (https://www.goodreads.com/user/show/18039952-linda) shelf for a book in the Horror genre and to no surprise, I did not find even one.

Since this is the week of Halloween, let me suggest three backlist books to put you in the mood without scaring you.
