The Tennessee-Alabama rivalry is heating up, and Food City is helping Vol Nation get ready with a Big Orange Pep Rally on Friday, Oct. 16, from 3-6 p.m. at the Food City located at 7510 Asheville Highway in Knoxville.
The celebration comes one day before Tennessee hosts Alabama at Neyland Stadium and promises an afternoon filled with Big Orange excitement for fans of all ages.
Fans can enjoy appearances by the University of Tennessee cheerleaders, dance team and Smokey, along with inflatables, refreshments and live broadcasts from WIVK throughout the event.
Prizes and giveaways add to the excitement
Attendees will have opportunities to win Tennessee football tickets, parking passes, Food City gift cards and even free fuel for a year.
The first 100 attendees will receive a commemorative Vols coin, giving early arrivals an extra reason to show up in orange.
Participants must be present to win prizes.
A Big Orange tradition
As the official supermarket of the Tennessee Vols, Food City continues its support of Tennessee athletics by bringing fans together for events celebrating the university and its traditions.
