It’s another SEC Saturday, and the KnoxTNToday writers are unusually united this week: Every one of them is picking Tennessee to beat Arkansas.
But can you predict the final score better than they can?
KnoxTNToday’s Game Ball is back, giving readers another chance to test their football instincts against our writers and win a Dinner for Two at Aubrey’s.
Beat the Writers
Nobody on the KnoxTNToday team is calling for an Arkansas upset, although there’s plenty of disagreement about how comfortable the Tennessee victory will be.
🏈 Maria Cornelius: Tennessee 32, Arkansas 10
🏈 Charlie Barnett: Tennessee 35, Arkansas 10
🏈 Tom King: Tennessee 34, Arkansas 14
🏈 Linda Sullivan: Tennessee 35, Arkansas 9
🏈 Aneisa Rolen: Tennessee 35, Arkansas 20
🏈 Jan Dickens: Tennessee 36, Arkansas 14
🏈 Marvin West: Tennessee 21, Arkansas 10
🏈 Tom Mabry: Tennessee 31, Arkansas 22
🏈 Susan Espiritu: Tennessee 28, Arkansas 10
The writers agree on the winner, but their predicted margins range from a relatively tight Tennessee victory to a comfortable Vols win.
Now it’s your turn.
Make your Game Ball prediction
Predict the final score of Tennessee vs. Arkansas and see whether you can Beat the Writers.
The closest eligible reader wins a Dinner for Two at Aubrey’s and KnoxTNToday Game Ball bragging rights.
Email your prediction to gameball@knoxtntoday.com before kickoff. Include your name, Tennessee’s final score and Arkansas’ final score. One entry per person.
How the winner is determined
An exact score wins. If no one predicts the exact final score, the winner will be the entry with the smallest combined difference between the predicted scores and the actual scores.
If needed, the first tiebreaker is the prediction closest to Tennessee’s actual score. If entries remain tied after that, the winner will be determined by random selection.
The KnoxTNToday writers are playing for bragging rights only and cannot win the Dinner for Two at Aubrey’s.
After the game, we’ll determine the reader winner, find the writer who came closest and see who earned this week’s bragging rights.
Make your pick. Beat the writers. Win a Dinner for Two at Aubrey’s.
Participants must be 18 or older. One entry per person. No purchase or subscription is necessary. Entries must be received before kickoff. KnoxTNToday staff members directly involved in administering or judging the contest are not eligible to win.
