Wallace Real Estate agents, brokers, and company leaders recently spent a morning volunteering at Wesley House Community Center as part of United Way of Greater Knoxville’s Week of Caring.
Wallace was a Gold Sponsor of the initiative, which brought teams across East Tennessee together to serve local organizations and schools.
At Wesley House, the Wallace team organized and stocked shelves in the food pantry and sorted items in the thrift store. The work gave volunteers a chance to support the center’s day-to-day efforts while spending time together in service to the community.
The project continued Wallace’s longstanding relationship with United Way. The organization holds special meaning for Wallace owners Jim and George Wallace, adding a personal dimension to the company’s many years of support.
“Week of Caring reminds us what can happen when people show up and lend a hand,” said Andrew McGranaghan, CEO of Wallace Real Estate. “We’re grateful for the opportunity to support Wesley House and for the agents and staff who gave their time. Caring for this community is part of who we are at Wallace.”
Immediately after the service project, volunteers gathered at Dead End BBQ for the monthly Wallace Professionals Network meetup, sharing lunch and time to connect.
