Every career begins with someone willing to share what they know.
Pellissippi State Community College is inviting professionals, industry experts and educators to consider sharing their knowledge as adjunct instructors. Whether you’re an experienced teacher, a retired professional or someone currently working in your field, your expertise can help students discover their potential and prepare for meaningful careers.
The college will host an Adjunct Recruitment Fair on Thursday, July 16, 2026, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the College Center of the J.L. Goins Administration Building on the Hardin Valley Campus, 10915 Hardin Valley Road, Knoxville.
The event offers an opportunity to learn how teaching at Pellissippi State can make a lasting impact—not only in the classroom but throughout the community. Representatives will be available to answer questions about becoming an adjunct instructor and explain how professionals from a wide range of industries can bring valuable real-world experience to students preparing for today’s workforce.
For many students, a mentor or instructor can be the person who changes the direction of a career. Pellissippi State is looking for individuals willing to make that difference by sharing the knowledge and experience they’ve gained throughout their careers.
Pellissippi State Community College is a public community college based in Knox and Blount counties in Tennessee and operated by the Tennessee Board of Regents. The college operates four campuses: Hardin Valley, Blount County, Strawberry Plains, and Magnolia Avenue.
