The five-student team from Pellissippi State Community College earned Best Community College Program honors at the Tennessee Intercollegiate Forensics Association (TIFA) State Tournament in Nashville earlier this year.

Next up, the season continues Friday and Saturday, March 6-7, when Pellissippi State hosts the Tennessee Valley Invitational at the Hardin Valley campus. Friday will focus on debate, specifically on the International Public Debate Association (IPDA) and NPDA formats, with four preliminary rounds. Saturday will feature 11 American Forensics Association (AFA) individual speaking events.
Pellissippi State Community College is a public community college based in Knox and Blount counties in Tennessee and operated by the Tennessee Board of Regents. The college operates four campuses: Hardin Valley, Blount County, Strawberry Plains, and Magnolia Avenue.
