Knox County wants to hear from you as part of its greenway grant application. Specifically, the county wants to install a sidewalk on the east side of Brickyard Road from Powell Drive to Emory Road along Brickyard Road. A pedestrian bridge over Beaver Creek would be installed Brickyard.
Cathy Olsen, director of strategic planning for Engineering & Public Works, is coordinating the public participation. She attended the September 29, 2022, meeting at Powell Library. Paul T. Beebe, senior consultant and licensed public engineer with Thompson Engineering, also was present.
