The Ritta Elementary School principal and assistant principal will go to any extreme to raise funds to improve their school, both inside and outside.
Principal Shawnda Ernst and assistant principal David Mowry were taped to the front of their school after promising to do so if the fundraising goal was met for the Ritta Ranger Fun Run!
The $15,000 goal was exceeded by the students, staff and community who raised a total $16,900! So, the tape was rolled and the administrators were taped to the building!
Principal Ernst said they were thrilled for the sacrifice because those funds were going to be used for playground improvements and stage curtains.
