October was special for Thrive

Thrive Knoxville put it all together for ALL of their Knox County divisions in October with a field trip to the Oakes Farm in Corryton.

Per Thrive’s October newsletter, this was a particularly special field trip, because it was the very first time for every Thrive campus to come together in one place. Thrive Parkridge, Papermill, New Hopewell, and all of Thrive Lonsdale convened at Oakes Farm to pick pumpkins, jump on the giant blob and enjoy all the farm’s activities. All of the students and staff got to enjoy this time together on such a beautiful day.

With the holidays approaching, Thrive is gearing up for its Christmas Store. This is an annual opportunity for Thrive students to experience the joy of giving by shopping for gifts to give everyone in their household. The Christmas Store will be filled with new or gently used items, and donations are gladly accepted. Compiled wish lists can be found here, and volunteers are needed to help stock the store. Volunteer “shoppers” are also needed to help students as they select and wrap gifts for their family members. If interested, please contact Claire at volunteer@helpusthrive.com.
