Norwood Elementary School entertained families and the community with an Encore Showcase on Friday, April 16. This event brought many community partners together to serve the families with The Knoxville Dream Center serving a chili dinner for guest families.
The showcase featured a piece of artwork from every student as the halls were lined with talented examples of creative minds from the very youngest to the graduating fifth graders.
The Joy of Music provided students with a petting zoo of instruments where they were able to play various instruments including a drum, a French horn and a violin. Cardio drumming provided a fun workout, and students were able to code with robots and build with maker space tools in the library.
