Lions Maji and Anga celebrated their second birthday on Dec. 21, 2023, at Zoo Knoxville. Zoo officials say they are very large for two-year-olds. Maji (male) is around 250 pounds and is starting to get his mane. Anga (female) is about 200 pounds. Here’s our story from December 23, 2021, when the cubs were born.
