Zoo Knoxville is excited to announce the return of Zoo Lights presented by Chick-fil-A Knoxville, with an even bigger light extravaganza featuring colorful animal lanterns, tree lights and festive food and drinks. Zoo Lights opens today (11/26) and continues through Jan. 9, 2022, from 5-8:30 p.m.

This year’s event features glowing silk lanterns of exotic animals and mythical creatures throughout the entire zoo, and new interactive experiences. Guests can journey through an enchanted forest of trees wrapped in lights and twinkling Moravian stars to experience an unforgettable holiday tradition. Because holiday food and drinks are part of the fun, Zoo Knoxville’s chef has created a special menu that will appeal to both kids and adults.

While attending Zoo Lights, guests are invited to download or open the Chick-fil-A App to claim an offer for a free Chick-fil-A chicken sandwich or 8-count nuggets, which can be redeemed at Chick-fil-A Knoxville locations. The offer can be claimed once per guest through Jan. 9, only while at Zoo Lights.

Zoo Lights tickets are $24 for ages 13 and up, $18 for ages 3-12, and children 2 and under are admitted free. Parking is free. Tickets are available online at zoolightsknoxville.com, by phone at (865) 637-5331 and at the zoo’s ticket office during regular zoo hours. Zoo Knoxville members receive a $4 discount on admission tickets. The Zoo strongly encourages online ticket purchases to ensure entry as the number of tickets available will be limited each evening. Last admission at 7:30 each evening. Zoo Lights will be closed Dec. 24 and 25.
