Winter Farmers Market will return to Market Square in downtown Knoxville from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, January 20, 2024, and will continue every Saturday through March. Nourish Knoxville sponsors the winter market and promises it will open “come rain or shine or snow.”

The reopening celebration will feature Nourish Kids, a free program catering to children ages 2 to 12. In collaboration with Trees Knoxville, Nourish Knoxville will be offering a unique and engaging activity where children can create native pollinator seed bombs to plant in the spring. Each participating child will receive a locally grown produce sample and $5 in Produce Bucks to spend on fresh fruits and vegetables at the farmers market.

Mizuki Hanford, Nourish Knoxville’s markets manager, said the winter market will showcase an impressive lineup of vendors with a variety of locally grown produce, flowers, meat, honey, herbs, plants, pastries and baked goods, coffee, pasta, and handcrafted items such as jewelry, pottery, photography, woodworking, original art, bath and body products, fiber crafts, and more – all made, grown and/or raised within a 150-mile radius of Knoxville, Tennessee.
