Town Hall East Neighborhood Association community meeting will be Monday, September 12, at 7 p.m. in the fellowship hall of Eastminster Presbyterian Church, Asheville Highway. The discussion will center on the growing presence of the homeless and homeless camps in the area. Meeting organizers will ask how city and volunteer agencies are seeking to deal with the problem. Also, what citizens should do if homeless persons are on private property, and what individuals and organizations such as Town Hall can do to help solve this nationwide problem.
