Summer is jumping at Fountain City Park

It was a hot Wednesday night, but Fountain City Park was packed with fun activities.

Katie Beeler Henson, owner of Knox Native Real Estate, hosted a free yoga class by the main pavilion led by Knox Native Realtor Jill Davis. Yoga practitioners of all ages and skill levels spread their mats on the grass for healthy stretches and exercise.

The next free yoga class is scheduled for 6 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 1.

Refill Coffee Cart was also in attendance, offering hot and iced coffees and three kinds of smoothies. The cart is a seasonal food vendor at the park, and a portion of their Fountain City Park sales will be donated to Fountain City Lions Club, which maintains the park and Fountain City Lake.

And don’t miss this Friday’s free concert in the park with Karen Reynolds. There will be food trucks and vendors. Find details with this link. Follow the Fountain City Lions Club Facebook page for updates.
