Working to keep my Thursday missives on topic and appropriate for the calendar, I considered a few snowy winter pieces for sharing this week. The snow enveloped our landscape and held my attention with such comfort – at first. Weary by day four, and after a week it felt like being held captive. A snow painting was now out of the question.
To “riff” on a cocktail is to make an adjustment taking the drink in a new direction.
Desperately seeking change and yearning for a tropical location, I dreamed up this painting. Finished just as the temperature crested 35 degrees, I’m taking you in a new fun direction with a twist! Warm, whimsical thoughts!
