One of the iconic sites of the Knoxville skyline was dismantled a couple of weeks ago. The mayor says the JFG sign is in storage and they are looking for a new location for this landmark. We hope to see it again soon.
Having passed the sign for years, we stopped for this photograph when I noticed that the “F’s” were burned out. That makes it just a bit different than other images, always my photography goal.
Need coffee to focus
Taken from across the river, the second image is a long exposure while zooming out slowly for this elongated effect. It is not quite the result wanted so I have planned to try again. Guess it will have to wait to see where JFG shows up next.
