City and county officials, along with local business leaders, crowded the lobby of the Hyatt Place Knoxville/Downtown this morning to celebrate the soon-to-open boutique hotel. Publicist Mike Cohen said, “There’s a new hotel in Knoxville, and it’s 100 years old.”
Dover Development redeveloped the historic Hotel Farragut, creating meeting rooms and 165 guest rooms. It will feature free Wi-Fi and 24-hour food offerings. Owned by Dover Development, it will be managed by Indiana-based White Lodging.
Trenton Keelen is the on-site manager, assisted by sales director Natalie Branham.
