Greylan James, Papaw Clevenger
I knew him when! Well, dang it, I wish I could say that, but I do know his friends, Kristen and Stephen Weigel, so maybe that will count when he’s rich and famous! Greylan James, a local young talent from Halls, who says he’s been singing since before he could talk, just signed a record deal with Big Machine Label Group.
Stephen Weigel says of Greylan, “His strive for perfection and to not settle for the first offer, first deal, the first of anything but to wait and be patient is what everyone should be inspired by.
“He is by far the most talented and gifted people I know, and I cannot wait for more of the world to see his talent.”
Weigel is not the only super fan in his family. His grandfather, who passed away a year ago, was counted as possibly Greylan’s biggest fan and would be equally excited for his rewarded success!
