Four promoted at Covenant Health

Covenant Health has announced four promotions:

Chris Skinner has been promoted to vice president of clinical informatics. Skinner has been with Covenant Health for more than 15 years and currently serves as an informatics officer for acute care, ancillary services and virtual health, a role he has served in for more than five years. During his tenure, Chris has led many successful initiatives across the health system, including the eCare electronic medical record implementation, Virtual Health Nephrology services and the Tele-ICU program.

John Lunn has been promoted to vice president of compensation and benefits. Lunn joined Covenant Health in 2014 as the manager of compensation and was subsequently promoted to director of compensation and benefits in 2016. He has more than 20 years working in all facets of human resources and has led many initiatives and made significant contributions to Covenant Health, especially in his current role where he oversees the review and expansion of benefits offerings and compensation programs across the health system.

Nell Christensen has been promoted to vice president of quality and patient safety. Christensen joined Covenant Health in 2018 and has been instrumental in quality improvement efforts across the health system. In her new role, she will lead efforts to improve patient safety and our journey toward zero harm. She will have responsibility for system-wide performance improvement activities, infection prevention, clinical quality analytics and readiness for all regulatory activities, including the Joint Commission.

Tiffany Cross has been promoted to vice president of clinical informatics. During her 24-year career at Covenant Health, Cross has led many successful initiatives, including the eCare electronic medical record implementation, Covenant Health’s new Virtual Urgent Care service line, and most recently, implementing new technology for the enhancement of appointment reminders for patients. She currently serves as an informatics officer for ambulatory, diagnostics and virtual health, a role she has served in for the past five years.
