The Halls Crossroads Women’s League sponsored its second cash mob in July, this one at Shattered Dreams, 6665 Maynardville Pike.
The owner is Dallas Love.
Mary Carroll, president of the Women’s League, calls Dallas “a computer whiz who repairs tablets and iPads as well as computers.
“Dallas is the son of Herman Love and nephew of Dora and Bill Love, long-time residents of Halls.
“He has been in business at this location for five years and will be opening a second site soon on Clinton Highway.”
Carroll said a drawing will be held for eight prizes including an iPad for those who attended the cash mob. The League will hold another cash mob in August. Stay tuned for details.
Also, the League is sponsoring its sixth annual golf tournament at Beaver Brook Country and Golf Club on August 15. Twenty-two teams are playing with support from other sponsors.
