CAK students sign college commitments

Christian Academy of Knoxville (CAK) announced that two of their outstanding student-athletes, Andrew Cross and J. D. Presley, signed to play at the collegiate level on April 7.


Andrew Cross signed with the track and field and cross-country program at The Master’s University in Santa Clarita, California. During his time at CAK, Cross’s accolades include:

  • Led cross-country team to 6th Place Finish at TSSAA championship in both 2019 and 2020
  • Five-time TSSAA All-State
  • Ten-time All-Region
  • Five-time Letter Winner in cross-country
  • Four-time Letter Winner in track & field
  • Member of National Honor Society

J. D. Presley signed to play football at Maryville College. During his time at CAK, Presley’s accolades include:

  • Four-year member CAK football
  • Undefeated regular season, senior year
  • Two-year football captain
  • 1st Team All-Region
  • Iron Warrior Award
  • Warrior Award
  • Knox Prep All Extra
