Knoxville Habitat for Humanity charitable partner Big Lots will kick off a donation program at their Seven Oaks Drive location in West Knoxville at 8:30 a.m. Friday, July 26. A ribbon-cutting ceremony for the retailer in recognition of its new store layout and design will feature a local Celebrity Shopper as well as other local dignitaries and representatives from Habitat for Humanity. The first 50 shoppers on Friday will receive a goody bag of treats.
Big Lots will donate $5 to the charity each time a “BIG Rewards” loyalty member redeems a reward at one of its 13 Knoxville area stores. The donation program runs through Sept. 7.
