Friends of the Knox County Public Library will hold a series of Used Book Sales at branch libraries around the county. Sales raise money for improvements at branches while offering shoppers easy access to great used books at affordable prices. Most items are $2 or less.

The Advisory Board of Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library of Knox County will host its third annual Seeds of Imagination luncheon on Thursday, Sept. 16, to benefit Knox County’s Imagination Library program.

The Stowers family will present the Seeds of Literacy Award to this year’s honorees, the nurses of the Childbirth Center at Parkwest Medical Center, for their exceptional contribution to early literacy in Knox County.

Guests will enjoy a silent auction, live music and luncheon at Cherokee Country Club. Tickets are available at www.knoxlib.org/seeds.
