Axle Logistics officially opened its new Knoxville headquarters on July 1. Located at 835 North Central, the new space is a restored 1920’s era car dealership. The renovated space includes a gym, basketball court, outdoor space and more.
Axle cofounders are Jon Clay and Drew Johnson.
Axle Logistics is a rapidly growing company with a focus on providing safe, reliable, advanced logistics services. That includes truckload, less than truckload (LTL), intermodal and warehousing to customers throughout the continental U.S., Canada, and Mexico.
Axle is on track to surpass the growth it predicted when the project began in 2020, according to a press statement. The firm has added 70 new positions in this calendar year. With an eye toward the future, Axle has already purchased an adjacent building. The development extends the city’s growth northward into Happy Holler.
The company also has offices in Chattanooga.
