  • Neighborhood Wiffle Ball Tournament begins Saturday, June 10, at 9 a.m. in Victor Ashe Park, 4901 Bradshaw Road. The tournament will feature seven teams: Burlington (in red), Forest Heights (in royal blue), Island Home (in navy), Oakwood Lincoln Park (in black), Westwood (in light blue), West Hills (in orange) and Timbercrest (in green).
  • Nkechi Ajanaku memorial services will be held 3-6 p.m. Saturday, June 10, at Haley Heritage Square, 1600 Dandridge Avenue. Ms. Ajanaku, 60, oversaw African American Appalachian Arts Inc., which presents Kuumba every June.
  • Relentless Blues will perform at Knox County’s Second Saturday Concert series, 6-8 p.m. Saturday, June 10. Last year’s free concerts were on Thursday, but this year’s will be on Saturday. Attendees should bring lawn chairs or blankets.
  • Kids Fish Free Day, hosted by the Clinch River Chapter of Trout Unlimited, is 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, June 10, at the Miller Island boat access of Clinch River in Norris. The event is free and open to all. Info: https://crctu.org/.
  • Cherokee Caverns presents Bats and Bones, an evening with anthropologist Dr. Bill Bass and cave historian Jim Whidby, Tuesday, June 13. Tickets are $30 and seating is limited. Info: www.Cherokeecaverns.com
