Estus gets TSSAA award

Christian Academy of Knoxville is excited to announce that CAK Athletic Director Ried Estus has been named the Tennessee Secondary Schools Athletic Association (TSSAA) District II Athletic Director of the Year for 2020-2021.

The award is named for A.F. Bridges, the first executive secretary of the TSSAA. This award is given for displaying high ideals of integrity and ethics and for setting an example of citizenship and sportsmanship in athletics.

“Coach Estus is a selfless servant for not only our athletic department, but for our entire school,” says CAK Head of School Rich Fulford. “He is a Godly and honorable man who we are blessed to have serving here at CAK.”

Estus came to CAK in 2009 and became the athletic director in 2017. He also serves as the head coach of CAK high school girls soccer.
