The Human Resources Department at UT is accepting donations for Smokey’s Closet through Aug. 18. “We are collecting gently used or new professional clothing for UT students to wear to job interviews and career fairs,” according to a flyer distributed on campus.
Needed are full suits (coats and pants or skirt), contemporary suit jackets or blazers, shirts/blouses appropriate to wear underneath, dress slacks, skirts in darker colors, ties, new dress socks or nylons and shoes.
Donations can be dropped off at the HR office, 105 Student Services Building, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Any unusable clothing will be donated to KARM. Info: 865-946-8847.
