Perry Pratt of Pratt’s Country Store in Fountain City was honored today by Modern Woodmen Financial. Pratt received the local group’s annual Hometown Heroes award and a $100 donation to the charity of his choice.
He opted to donate to the Fountain City Ministry Center and the gift was accepted by Gerald Lay.
“Our community has been so good to us,” Pratt said. “It has shaped us and set the example for service.”
The meeting was at Buddy’s Bar-B-Q in Fountain City.
