Zoom debut for new book on Knoxville history

Jay FitzDowntown, Our Town Stories

Join the Knoxville History Project tonight for the launch of a brand-new photographic book, “Downtown Knoxville,” as part of Arcadia Publishing’s popular “Images of America” series. It’s a collection of photographs, some of them well-known classics, some never before published, of downtown Knoxville across the era of photography.

Paul James took the lead on photo research and organizing the book, and he and Jack Neely will be showing some of the more striking images in the book, and discussing each one.

The History Happy Hour on Zoom begins at 6 p.m. Go here to register and here to learn more about KHP or to make a donation.
