Parkwest Women’s Specialists announces a new satellite clinic located at Tennova North, 7551 Dannaher Drive in Powell. The clinic will be primarily staffed by Melissa Chittum, FNP, along with Rebecca Walker, MD, FACOG.
The Powell office will be open from 8 a.m. until noon Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. The original Parkwest location at 9314 Parkwest Boulevard will remain open Monday through Friday. Both locations are accepting new patients and most insurance is accepted. Info: 865-690-7677.
Dr. Walker is a graduate of the University of Tennessee School of Health Sciences. She taught in the residency program before returning to Knoxville to be near her family. Dr. Walker loves delivering babies and helping her patients of all ages achieve optimum health.
Chittum has been a nurse practitioner with Parkwest Women’s Specialists since January 2015. She is a 2002 graduate of the University of Tennessee where she spent 12 years as an RN specializing in women’s health and surgery. She received her M.S.N. as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Tennessee Tech University in 2014. She holds her FNP certification from the AANP and the state of Tennessee.
