Start now to prepare for the TriAQUAthon — coming to the Cansler Y Saturday, Nov. 18. Swim for distance, ride on the Hydrorider and then take an aqua jog for distance! This is a great way for all athletes, whether beginner or elite, to challenge your body in a new and fun way with little to no stress on your joints. The Y will offer a training class to prepare for the race day. With both beginner and advanced courses, the classes will ensure everyone is at their level of competition.

The four-week training will begin Oct. 16, offering two groups: 6:30-7:30 a.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 7-8 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday, and 8-9 a.m. Saturdays. Cost is $100 for Y members, $175 for non-members.

Each week participants will be guaranteed a Hydrorider for three classes per week and given a swim, aqua jog and strength training workout to do on your own time. The class time will focus on the Hydrorider. You will need aquatic shoes with toe coverings to ride the Hydrorider.
