Sign up now for upcoming events at the Knoxville Botanical Garden and Arboretum (KBGA). And if these don’t fit in your schedule, the gardens are available for viewing daily from dawn until dusk.

July 30 – Summer Tree Walk, 9–11:30 a.m: Come find the best shade! Join Board Member & former KBGA staff, Dan Steinhoff, on a guided tour of KBGA’s unique & historic tree collection, this time through the heat of summer. For more info or to register go here. Cost is $5 for non-members, free to members.

July 30 – Dyeing with the Flora Around Us. 10 a.m.–1p.m.: This eco-printing class will be fun and playing with fresh flowers from the Botanical Gardens of Knoxville – feel free to bring flowers from your own garden! This class will be great for creative folks, gardeners, and anyone who loves color and flowers. We ask that you stop and smell the flowers, think about color and then smash them into beautiful silk scarves. In this class, we will go over flower gardening, sustainable foraging, and fun flower facts. For more info or to register go here. Cost is $85.
